Marie-Hélène Bilodeau, professional photographer & business owner

Marie-Hélène has the eye, as they say! Her critical thinking, her artistic talents, her unlimited creativity and her attention to detail make her an indispensable ally in any visual project. In 2008, she started MHB PHOTO-GRAF in Calgary, specializing in architectural and corporate photography.

Marie-Hélène has extensive experience in portrait, commercial and aerial photography. She has worked as a photography assistant, digital photo editor, aerial photographer and printing lab technician in both digital and traditional (chemical) environments. She has also taught black and white and digital photography for several years. Fifteen years later, more passionate than ever, Marie-Hélène is still working in the photography industry.

With her husband, Marie-Hélène moved to Calgary in 2007 to experience an English-speaking lifestyle. She was delighted to discover a booming, economically driven city in the immediate vicinity of amazing mountain terrain.

In her spare time, Marie-Hélène can be found expressing her creativity with paint on canvas, in the kitchen, in the garden or in front of the fermenter; her and her husband share a passion for making (and tasting, of course!) craft beers. Marie-Hélène is also an outdoor enthusiast; she is no stranger to backcountry hiking. Marie-Hélène and her husband hiked more than 700km on the Continental Divide Trail between Montana and northern Alberta and British Columbia. Both enjoy spending their weekends in the Rockies hiking or backcountry skiing.
